Highlights

Mountains and Lakes

Mountains and Lakes

Eskdale is one of the hidden gems of the Lake District. Tucked away in the Western Lakes this tranquil valley is celebrated for its unspoilt beauty and dramatic landscapes. The River Esk winds through woodland and meadows before joining Wastwater, England’s deepest lake, framed by steep scree slopes and rugged peaks. Towering above is Scafell Pike, the country’s highest mountain, offering scenic hikes and panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and fells. Explore further afield and there are waterfalls, tarns and some ethereal landscapes that have to be experienced to be believed.

Luxurious Rooms

Luxurious Rooms

The Old Vicarage in Irton is a beautifully restored 1864 former vicarage which has been brought up to date with the type of spec you’d expect in a boutique hotel. Expect luxurious hotel-quality beds, plush soft furnishings and thoughtfully designed communal spaces that encourage the conversation to flow. The property has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, blending Victorian charm and modern luxury. Inside, you’ll find a cinema room, games room, open fireplaces, and elegant period detailing. Outdoors, guests can relax in the sunken hot tub, wander the enclosed gardens, or entertain around the fire pit.

Epic Feasts

Epic Feasts

Your private chef for the weekend Harrison has created an exciting and nutritious farm to fork menu with refined presentation and a focus on nourishing, seasonal ingredients. Based locally in Cumbria, Harrison brings together his experience in British fine dining from Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred L’Enclume and Rogan & Co with a focus on local suppliers and foraged ingredients. Expect refined but unstuffy dining and savour plant-forward menus that will surprise you at every turn. All dietary requirements are catered for sympathetically and Harrison and team will be on hand to explain the thoughtfully curated menus and sustainably-sourced ingredients.

Authentic Experiences

Authentic Experiences

We’ve carefully curated the perfect weekend of authentic local travel experiences that come alive when shared with others, turning moments into lasting memories. Exploring the local area in a small group encourages curiosity, connection, and confidence. Try paddle boarding or kayaking across Wastwater, wild swimming in a hidden tarn or hiking hidden paths. Trying something unfamiliar is easier and more rewarding with supportive companions, sparking laughter, conversation, and shared triumphs. By stepping out of your comfort zone together, shared experiences become more memorable reminding us that nature is as much about connection as it is about discovery.

Community

Community

We’ve curated the perfect weekend in the Lakes to encourage connection with nature and one another. You’ll be staying with a group of outdoor enthusiasts that embrace the moment and are seeking to share authentic experiences. Try activities you might not attempt on your own and benefit from a sense of community and support. Turn up solo or with a partner or friend and leave with a dozen new ones, refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.
