This scenic route marks the first section of the renowned Cotswold Way, a long-distance trail that winds through the Cotswolds National Landscape. Offering a perfect blend of classic countryside charm and historic landmarks, it’s an ideal choice for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of the English countryside.

Beginning in the historic market town of Chipping Campden, the initial stretch features a gentle climb, offering sweeping views across rolling hills and patchwork fields. Though the first part can feel moderately challenging, the remainder of the walk becomes easier as you follow well-maintained pathways.

The trail concludes in the postcard-perfect village of Broadway, often called the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds,’ where there are lots of shops, cafes, and pubs, including Eight Bells Inn. This dog-friendly pub cooks up a range of seasonal dishes and offers a hearty, home cooked Sunday menu too.
