Painswick Beacon and The Woolpack Inn, Stroud
Enjoy all the beauty the Cotswolds has to offer on this scenic circular trail from the village of Painswick. The route takes you across rolling farmland, through peaceful woodland pockets, and past local landmarks, including the historic Rococo Gardens and the impressive Painswick Beacon, which boasts sweeping views across the Severn Valley and even the Welsh hills on a clear day.
Take your time rambling along this trail to soak in the scenery while keeping an eye out for local wildlife, such as deer, pheasants, and a variety of bird species that call this area home.
